Action Hero MoviesThe opening cartoonish CGI-based fight scene featuring an elderly Salma Hayek and an elderly Angelina Jolie is a bit weird.
With an unclear and disinteresting plot, and mostly weak acting, and entirely unrealistic fight choreography, and emo puke pop music, and a disempowered hotheaded ADHD mood, and garbage for humour, and low-contrast lighting, overzoomed camerawork and ASMR sound effects — this may be Marvel’s worst movie ever. Pretty much every department is impotent. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s heavily made by AI.
Around 1 hour in, the plot becomes mildly interesting, and this movie climbs from a Watchable rating to So-So. But there’s still over an hour to go.
Beware the gay kissing scene at 90 minutes in without warning.
The final battle scene is finished with half an hour to go, and the last half hour is comprised of entirely skippable boring drama.
