Action Hero MoviesJason Statham singlehandedly holds down this movie, which is full of cheap action and sleaze. It follows a Taken-like theme except it’s not Statham’s daughter who’s taken, it’s his friend’s daughter who he vowed to protect.
I rate this movie So-So, because it shows Statham in his element but he’s clearly been given very little to work with here. It’s of a similar vibe to a cheap Seagal movie from before they became unwatchably bad.
